Experience Required |
Documentated and successful service at least 2 years in similar position at sea or in a 5 star hotel operating under International Food Safety Standards; or A valid record of succssful performances as a 1st cook in another associated section. |
Responsibilities |
1. Check cleaneless of station before start of each shift 2. Prepare food as specified by the Executive Chef assuring food safety and high quality 3. Check temperature and condition of materials and refrigerators and discart any potential hazardous food. 4. Apply food costs, quality and portions controls as required by Eecutive Chef. Minimize food spoiler 5. Comply with MSC Sanitation standards and ensure that personnel in the section respect Sanitation Standard procedure 6. Order and collect daily from the F&B Store all supplies required for immediate operations, ensuring that no partly used iteam is returned to the storeroom 7. Investigate complaints concerning quality, taste, smell, appearance of any item rejected by Guest or waiter and advise Exective Chef of the causes 8.Attend all sanitation briefing and meeting with the Executive Chef to review menus and to explain any changes 9. Prepare preliminary end-of-contract evaluation of personnel in the section. |
